When I have friends over for a meal, I have a simple philosophy that I like to stick to. Do a few things and do them well without putting too much strain on yourself. A dinner party should be easy going and fun without worrying if they host is going to have a mental break down.
I like to pick and choose things that I like to cook, and share those things with the people I invite over. I really cherish my friends, and the act of eating and drinking together is more than just about the ingredients, it’s sharing conversation and company I wouldn’t trade for any fancy restaurant.
